Charles Palmer Vineyards and Wickham Manor B&B

Charles Palmer Vineyards is a family run wine estate at Winchelsea, East Sussex.

The first vines were planted in 2006 specifically with the aim of producing sparkling wine of the highest standards.

Only the very best hand picked grapes grown on the estate are used to make the families selections of vintage sparkling wines.

This Sussex coastal location just a mile from the sea provides a beneficial climate, having higher night time temperatures, reducing the risk of frosts.

The carefully chosen aspect of the slopes and the soil that the vines are planted in is ideal for growing these varieties of grapes.
