Welcome to Dryhill! This beautiful 400-year-old country house and cottage sits in the heart of the Cotswolds, the perfect luxury holiday home for you and your family or for a group friends looking for a country retreat or for wedding accommodation. This former farmhouse was built on the site of an ancient Roman villa and vineyard, and 2000 vines were planted in 2015.
Dryhill is perfect for both relaxing and entertaining family, friends, and pets. The large holiday home sleeps ten people, the cottage sleeps two and the lodges 2-4 people. Throughout the properties there are contemporary interiors, with decorative influences from travels to India and Africa.
Dryhill nestles on the side of the Cotswold escarpment with breathtaking views to the west of over 50 miles: our sunsets are frequently stunning.
The vineyard is situated at around 150 metres above sea level. It is located in a small fold in the hill, with its back protected from the Northerly winds.
This unique micro climate has proven to be grape friendly, let’s hope the Weather Gods keep smiling, in times to come.
The soil here is generally thin and sits on free draining Cotswold brash…fine granular stones and small rocks: a good combination of factors to create wine with character.
