Ryedale Vineyards is the UK’s most northerly commercial vineyard hidden away in an idyllic spot at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds in North Yorkshire. We produce delicious wines that regularly wine awards.
Established in 2006, the Fletcher family took over in 2016 and it is a true family business with everyone working in the winery and looking after the 10,000 vines. All the work, pruning, harvesting, bottling and labelling is all done by hand. The 500 year old farmhouse has been renovated to include two luxury ensuite guest rooms. Visit for a tour and tasting and stay the night. A perfect relaxing retreat with only birdsong to wake up to. Tours of the vineyard and winery are £10 per person, bed and breakfast from £80 per room per night. At present the winery produces approximately 8000 bottles of white, red , rosé and sparkling wine plus cider from our own orchards.
Ryedale Vineyards is only 7 miles from Malton, which is becoming known as the Food Capital of Yorkshire, with very popular monthly food markets and regular Food Festivals, together with lots of fantastic independent stores and cafes.
Relax and stay with us in one of our two luxurious rooms in our farmhouse on our idyllic 6 acre vineyard. Set on south facing slopes at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, our setting is rural and peaceful yet only six miles from the market town of Malton with regular food markets and food festivals which are hugely successful, lively and fun and well worth a visit. Castle Howard is nearby, as is the North York Moors Railway. We are also a short drive from York, great for shopping, visiting and the races.
