Hencote Vineyard

With vines planted across 15 acres of the Hencote estate, our vineyard is inspired by the renaissance of English viticulture to produce world-class wines from grapes such as Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir.

Our vines are grown on south facing sandy loam overlying the Kinnerton Sandstone Formation formed in the Triassic Age. Combined with a cool climate, we are uniquely placed to create outstanding sparkling, elegant rosé and aromatic white wines.

Nestling below the vineyard lies one of England's few remaining ancient wet woodlands. Together, the woodlands, winery and vineyard combine to make Hencote one of the most attractive country estates in England for oenophiles and historians alike.
