Hope Valley Vineyard

Hope Valley Vineyard is set in the heart of England’s beautiful Peak District National Park, nestling on the hillside below the escarpment of Stanage Edge and overlooking the historic village of Hathersage, famous for its Charlotte Brontë connections. It has a glorious aspect capitalising on its steep south-west facing slopes.

This privately run family vineyard is managed with consummate care and passion to ensure only the finest grapes are selected for vinification.

The vineyard is not open to the public.

Tours and Tastings: 

As a private vineyard with predominantly local wine sales, wine tours can be conducted for private groups, local horticultural societies, probus groups etc. They take the form of a guided tour of the vineyard followed by a wine tasting of CARRHEAD wines.

2020 GB Wine Awards

CARR HEAD sparkling Seyval Blanc from the 2018 harvest was awarded a Bronze medal at the prestigious annual GB wine Challenge. Competing against the UK’s finest sparkling wines, CARRHEAD has again demonstrated that great wines can be produced from vineyards in the north of England. TV presenter Oz Clarke hosted and assisted the judging panel.
