Compton Green Vineyard

Compton Green Vineyard is a 5 acre vineyard at Compton Green, just north of Newent in Gloucestershire. Our main grape varieties are Madeleine Angevine and Phoenix which consistently produce a distinctive fruity white wine and are used to make the delicate, dry-medium, white wine “Estate Special Reserve.”

Compton Green wines have been produced for over 25 years and more recently we have started to make a red wine packed with spicy berry fruit flavours from the Regent grape which is an established red variety in the UK.

We also produce a small quantity of sparkling wine “Vintage Reserve,” and “Estate Sparkling Rosé” using the traditional method of secondary bottle fermentation. Both deliciously dry “fizz” are delicately balanced and ideal for special occasions.

Our wines are made by the local Three Choirs Vineyards who are leading producers of English Wine having won many national and international awards
