Cabernet Jura
The variety has very good winter frost resistance and very good resistance to powdery mildew and botrytis. It also exhibits good resistance to downy mildew. Its upright growth habit makes it advantageous for canopy management. Due to the very vigorous shoot growth, fertile locations should not be used for new plantings. Disadvantages include susceptibility to stem calving and poor magnesium uptake.
Wine styles:
The wine is fruity, full-bodied, dense and has a dark, ruby red colour similar to Cabernet Sauvignon .
