Tamar Valley Vineyard

Tamar Valley Vineyard aims to supply high-quality grapes whilst conserving, enhancing and promoting the natural and historic landscape of the Tamar Valley.

Tamar Valley Vineyard has been established on the Devon slopes of the river Tamar looking across the river to the rolling farmland of Cornwall and along the length of the Tamar, stretching out as far as Brunel's famous double-arched railway bridge. The Vineyard feels both remote and secret...

The vineyard is a family-run business. The land has been in the family for 3 generations since the mid-1950s when Leo Stamm, the family's grandfather, took his first steps into market gardening, after finding a new start in the Bere Peninsula as a prisoner of war.

The Vineyard's aim is to produce high-quality grapes for supply to the ever expanding and increasingly successful wine industry of the South West.
