First planted by the Barnes family in 1969, Biddenden is the oldest commerical vineyard in Kent. There are now 23 acres of south-facing slopes, situated in a shallow sheltered valley.

Schönburger 2018

Sweet, Lychee, elderflower & honey flavours

Produced from the German grape variety of the same name, Schönburger is a light blush fruity sweet wine made with late harvest grapes which have been left on the vine to develop higher natural sugars. Flavours of honey, lychee and elderflower adorn this lusciously sweet, rich white wine. Ideally served lightly chilled as an aperitif.

Off dry, light refreshing red, raspberry and summer fruit flavours

Fresh raspberries and summer fruits abound in this refreshing, light red wine. An ideal accompaniment to Mediterranean style meals. Very light red – can be drunk chilled for a great summer refreshment, or as a red would traditionally be served at room temperature.

Off-dry with citrus fruit flavours

A lovely nose of soft apple blossom and gentle apricot lead to a palate that is just off-dry but deliciously fresh and easy to get along with. The apricot follows on from the nose and is combined with rounded citrus fruits - mainly subtle orange and lemon. Produced with the Ortega grape, this wine is just great on its own but will work very well with white fish dishes and salads.

Semi-aromatic on the nose, displays appealing fresh aromas of green apple, grapefruit, cut grass and flora, whilst the palate is medium bodied, crisp, characterful and deliciously fruity. Dry, fruity with aromas of rhubarb

Strong aromas associated with the variety, fruity with a granite- dry experience. This wine boasts high acidity levels alongside aromas of rhubarbs. Huxelrebe is made from riper grapes often have muscat-like aromas in addition.
