Lordship's Barns at Lordship's Farm

Few would ever believe that London could be less than an hour away from these stunning barn conversions, surrounded by rolling Hertfordshire countryside. The three barns are set in 600 acres of countryside, with cows grazing in green pastures, swathes of vivid yellow rapeseed, fields of swaying crops and even a working English vineyard. Individually, each barn makes a stunning bolthole to escape to the country and when all three are booked together they are perfect for special occasions and get-togethers of up to 14 family and friends.

Behind the Barns is our vineyard of 2 acres on chalky soil .  The vines, which were planted nine years ago, produce pinot noir grapes which are turned into bottles of English sparkling wine.  We can't call it “Champagne” but it tastes as good. Feel free to go and take a look at the vines.  If you see Chris, our Vineyard Manager, please ask him any questions you may have.

We take our role as countryside custodians very seriously and have planted hundreds of trees.  These, coupled with our acres of more ancient woodland, provide a great space for exploration and discovery.
