We are a family run business, with a background in farming and food-technology
We want to produce world-class still English wines at Missing Gate with no compromise between quality and sustainability.
Since 2018 we have taken the long term approach to cultivating our vineyard, investing and experimenting with many different disease and climate resistance varieties of grapes before selecting the best vines for the wine and our environment. We have also used our background in food processing technologies (food-physics.com) to help steer the use of new green technology solutions that helps to get greater yields from the grapes and improve the quality of the wine. Encouraged by our initial success, we’ve continued expanding the vineyard and making great new English still wines.
