Wildshark Vineyard

It has taken over one hundred million years before Wildshark Vineyard could plant the first vines

We see ourselves as custodians of this beautiful part of Kent. A place where Romans camped before crossing the Medway during the first invasion of Britain in 55 BC under Julius Caesar. Where many pilgrims have refreshed themselves at the source of the Seven Springs, whilst making their way to Canterbury along the Pilgrims Way.

We named the Vineyard in respect to the sea monsters that swam here over fifty million years ago during the cretaceous period, when the North Downs were the bed of a vast ocean. White sharks and Megalodon sharks swam in vast numbers amongst the many other weird and wonderful creatures of the deep. We are a hidden gem of a vineyard in Kent – spend the whole day with us to see what we’re really about.
