We've paired a day at Balfour Winery with an overnight stay at The Winemaker's Pub, just 10 minutes from the vines. Think guided tours, English wine, seasonal food, comfortable rooms and the simple pleasure of not having to watch the clock.
Choose from a relaxed midweek escape, a Friday sunset experience, or a full weekend getaway — all designed around one simple idea: making the most of your time in the wine county.
Each package includes a winery tour and tasting, dining, shuttle bus, a stay at The Winemaker's Pub, breakfast the following morning and, naturally, a bottle of wine waiting in your room.

Weekday Vineyard Escape
A relaxed midweek escape featuring an 11am guided tour and tasting, platters or flatbreads in our Cellar Door, a three-course dinner at The Winemaker’s Pub, and an overnight stay just minutes from the vines.

Friday Sunset Experience
An indulgent evening of a sunset tour, tasting and dinner at the winery, followed by a short transfer to our Winemaker’s Pub for cosy overnight stay.

A full weekend experience with a winery tour and tasting, platters or flatbread lunch, three-course dinner at the Winemaker’s Pub, and an overnight stay in the Kent countryside.

Expect seasonal food, a wine list packed with Balfour favourites, regular events throughout the year, and four stylish bedrooms that make staying the night a very easy decision.
No maps. No taxis. No deciding who's driving. Simply arrive at the pub or Marden station and we'll pick you up in our shuttle bus, so you can spend the day among the vines, enjoy exceptional English wine and seasonal food, and leave the rest to us. A short transfer later, you'll be settling into The Winemaker's Pub, where a comfortable room and breakfast await the next morning.
