SIEGERREBE
Siegerrebe is a white wine grape grown primarily in Germany. A relation to Gewürztraminer, and known as 'victory vine' in German, this vine is well suited to our cool English climate as bud-burst is late and the fruit ripening is early - perfect for growing in Herefordshire.
The wine we produce from our Siegerrebe grapes is a clear, pale colour with a fresh, lively smell of whitecurrants and nettles. On the palate, follows through with flavours of melons and whitecurrants; present, but ripe acidity; dry, but not at all sharp, medium body; long, juicy finish.
