Primary fermentation took place in a combination of stainless-steel tanks & used oak barrels, followed by complete malolactic fermentation. Following 7 months of élevage, the final blend was created including 6% red wine & 15% reserve wine.
There are aromas aplenty here with cherry bakewell, pink lady apple skin, raspberry yoghurt & wild strawberries. The palate reflects this fresh red berry profile, but it is also more serious & has great depth. Cherry yoghurt, young wild strawberry & raspberry coulis bring the fruit profile to the forefront, whilst a more savoury & saline note rounds off this wine.
A wine suited to all occasions, drinking equally well on its own or with light seafood dishes. Perfect now or age for up to 3 years.
