“Painter of Light” is a reflection of the wonderful indian summer the UK had in 2018, allowing for better balance and concentration of flavour. Our chardonnay expresses refinement and elegance playing into the fruit forward varietal characters with additional floral and flint characters. With 20% new oak from a large new burgundy barrel, the wine gives subtle oak characters while embracing and lifting the fruit. Dominated by citrus and tropical fruit with underlying smokey and flint characters the palate is nutty with underlying elements of citrus and saline notes. This wine has 10 year aging potential.
