The Great British Vineyards Guide

Last year I started the vinyard back in October starting with the vineyard setup with posts and trainning wires. In April this year we planted just over 300 vines with an equal split of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. These have developed very well given the very hot summer and during this period we set up phase 2, marking out, inserting posts with trainning wires and preparing holes. This area is now ready and this year we will be extending our range planting two areas with Sauvignon Blanc and have exteded the area of phase 1 to encouporate this extra range. In April 2021 we are looking forward to our vine delivery and this will keep us busy right up to the summer where it all starts again as we mark out phase 3 for 2022.
