The crocuses and snowdrops are out and that heralds everything coming back to life at Oastbrook!
Nick and I have been busy in the winery with last years amazing vintages and we are just about to start our pruning in the vineyard. We continue to welcome guests on our winery tours and tastings until April when we begin our vineyard tours.
With a Sabrage event on the 18th of April, Luxury Glamping, and our Summer Party all , we’re looking forward to showcasing the very best that our estate has to offer in the coming months.

Summer Party
Save the date for our Summer Party! Join us on Saturday 27th June, when we’ll be opening up our doors to guests, visitors, and likeminded wine lovers for a seasonal celebration of all things Oastbrook. What's happening in the vineyard
The
vines are beginning to come out of their winter dormancy and we start to see the buds beginning to a develop deep in the woody cane, from which the buds will emerge. We are about to prune the
vines back to single fruiting cane and a spur for next year. The more mature
vines also have a sacrificial cane that we wont lay down and acts as a back up in case of frost. Our next job is to lay down the canes along the trellis wires and to put in the infra-red frost protection system to protect them in case of frost.
