2022 Rosé

Our 2022 rosé is now available.

Our first ever wine is a crisp, refreshing rosé.  It is a light, dry rosé, with strong fruity notes, made with a blend of our pinot noir and bacchus grapes.

Described by customers as “very quaffable!” it’s perfect for the warmer sunny afternoons and evenings which have finally arrived.

We are a small-scale grower, not a winery, so have partnered with the award-winning Three Choirs from Gloucestershire, who have made the wine.

One of England’s oldest vineyards, Three Choirs are pioneers of the English wine movement.  They have been making wine for almost 50 years and have been suppliers to The Wine Society for longer than any other English vineyard.  Their expert Head Winemaker, Martin Fowke, has closely studied the techniques of New World producers in cooler climates, such as those in New Zealand, and has successfully tailored the winemaking processes to the English climate.

They certainly know a thing or two about how to make fine English wine!
