Gold, Silver, Silver, Silver, Bronze
We are incredibly honoured to announce that Langham has received medals across its full sparkling range in the IWSC 2026 results, led by a gold medal and 96 points for Perpetual Cuvée Second Edition, which achieved the joint highest score in the sparkling wine category. With only 3% of wines entered earning a gold, Perpetual is in terrific company in it’s first IWSC entry. Blanc de Blancs NV, Culver Classic Cuvée NV and Rosé NV each received silver medals, while Corallian Classic Cuvée NV was awarded bronze.
Perpetual is our multi-vintage Blanc de Blancs, this second edition drawn from the very best estate-grown fruit across the 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020 vintages. The wine is shaped by the perpetual ‘solera’ system, with the wine from each year’s bottling replaced with the best parcels from the most recent vintage. Its gold medal and 96 point score marks a significant result for one of the clearest expressions of our winemaking philosophy: chalk terroir, ripe fruit, oxidative depth, texture and composure. Silver medals for Blanc de Blancs NV, Culver Classic Cuvée NV and Rosé NV, and bronze for Corallian Classic Cuvée NV, reflect the consistency of the wider range.

Winemaker Tommy Grimshaw says: “Perpetual is one of the clearest expressions of our approach in the cellar. The reserve system gives us a way to build texture and oxidative complexity without losing precision, and Chardonnay from this site has a way of carrying that depth while still keeping its chalk line. The balance we look for is composure rather than weight, so it’s gratifying to see that style recognised so clearly by the IWSC panel. It’s equally pleasing to see Blanc de Blancs, Culver, Rosé and Corallian all recognised as well, because those wines matter just as much to us and say a lot about the range as a whole.”

This year’s results also underline the strength of English sparkling wine within the category, with several producers receiving high scores. For Langham, they offer further recognition for an estate-grown, Dorset-rooted approach to sparkling wine that places equal weight on careful vineyard management, low intervention winemaking and a tight-knit relationship between the teams who work on the estate.
