We Won! Langham Awarded International Sparkling Wine Trophy

A Global Honour for Our Dorset Sparkling Wine

We’re delighted to share some remarkable news from the estate. Last Wednesday, we were awarded the 2025 IWSC Sparkling Wine Producer Trophy. This is the second time we’ve been awarded the trophy, after first winning in 2020, and we’re incredibly proud to see our small Dorset vineyard recognised again on the world stage.

We were shortlisted for the trophy after a strong showing across our range of wines, earning some of the highest average scores in this year’s competition. The International Wine and Spirits Competition's Producer Trophies are awarded to those who demonstrate consistent quality, integrity, and innovation across their portfolios — an honour that has put us on top of more than 300 leading names from Champagne, Australia, and beyond.

Judge David Kermode noted: “At just 29, Tommy Grimshaw has achieved extraordinary things at Langham. Introducing a flor system and experimenting with oxidative techniques is brave, but what impressed us was the balance he achieved, the wines remain precise, fresh and consistently impressive.” Judge Mick O’Connell MW further described Langham as “the frontrunner in terms of interest in English wine today,” praising the team for bringing “a real sense of cool to the category that simply wasn’t there before.”

Our small but deeply motivated team has spent nearly two decades refining a style that lets the vineyard speak for itself. To have that farming-first philosophy acknowledged internationally is a milestone we couldn’t have imagined when we first set out. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey.
